What is Skelaxin? A muscle relaxant drug used to relax muscles and relieve pain caused by strains, sprains, and other musculoskeletal conditions. It is considered to be a moderately strong muscle relaxant.
DIRECTIONS:
Tablet - Comes as tablet to take by mouth. Do not split, chew or crush them. The tablets should be swallowed whole and taken with a full glass of water.
Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor.
STORAGE:
- Keep it in its tightly closed container.
- Keep it out of reach of children.
- Store the capsules and tablets at room temperature and away from excess heat and moisture (not in the bathroom).
- Throw away any medication that is outdated or no longer needed. Talk to your pharmacist about the proper disposal of your medication.

- If allergic to Skelaxin or any other drugs.
- If you are taking prescription and nonprescription medications.
- If you have or have ever had kidney disease, liver disease, seizures or a blood disorder.
- If you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant or are breast-feeding.
- If you become pregnant while taking skelaxil, advice your doctor immediately.
